My journey in Sound Healing began late 2019 when my curiosity of sound frequencies enhancing and healing the mind, body and soul began. I joined a few sound bath experiences, but it wasn’t until 2021 where my heart was ripped open in a fully immersive Sound Bath Ceremony in Malibu, California (my home state). The chic, welcoming environment and the openness of the practitioner and the participants were so real and raw that I HAD to bring this practice to my community. It changed me in a deep way that I wanted to recreate that magical moment over and over again in my own way.
In May 2022, I had the honor to be trained by a Professional Intuitive Sound Healer and today I am so excited to host my FOURTH Sound Healer Certification Course to provide my personal experience and expertise in this RAPIDLY growing field.
My style is both intuitive and structured. I provide impactful, welcoming and soul-led sound baths by curating a fully immersive experience that allows mind and body to settle before any sound even begins. How? Each sound bath is an experience- it is intentional. From the meditation used to calm the mind, the practitioner’s tone of voice, demeanor, and in my opinion, even the set up can make the difference. For me, a sound bath is more than “just” bowls being played. It’s a grounded time to be led back to self.
About the Training:
This training is open to anyone interested in learning about the mechanics of sound frequencies and their impact on the mind, body, and soul. It is designed for those who feel called to lead intentional, ethical, and heart-centered sound bath experiences. Throughout the course, students will explore both scientific research and intuitive methods, while being encouraged to experiment with their own techniques to begin developing a unique personal style.
The course is a mixture of lecture and hands-on learning. This structure ensures students not only learn the technical fundamentals but also begin shaping their unique voice as practitioners from day one.
The certification course includes ONE 8” inch C Note Crystal Sound Bowl. This allows students to practice at home as they begin to build their own collection.
Lectures will be both on the floor on padded meditation mats and on chairs. Students are encouraged (although optional) to bring in any additional items they need to maximize their comfort during the three day course (ie meditation pillow, blankets, etc).
Each day the course will either begin or include meditation and yoga. Even though ARY Retreats will have mats available, students may bring their own yoga mat.
On day 3 of the certification, students will have the opportunity to lead a community sound bath with their peers to put into practice what they have learned throughout the certification course. Students are encouraged to invite friends, family and their community to partake in the community experience. For this portion of the course, students are required to wear neutral-colored clothing (white, cream, tan, beige).
To continue the celebration and uniqueness of each practitioner, day 3 of the certification students will have the opportunity to work with a professional photographer to begin building their portfolio for marketing purposes. Students may wear anything they feel represents them and their style. Students may bring any additional props to their photoshoot they would like to include (branding items, additional instruments, decor, etc). ARY Retreats will have a gong, sound bowls, and chimes available for students to use for their photoshoot.
Three months after the certification is complete, students will have the opportunity to book a 30 minute consultation with Annette to discuss anything they need to further their career in sound healing.

Who is This For?
Those who seek to begin or expand their curiosity, knowledge, and practice in sound healing. No prerequisites necessary. However, a regular meditation practice is encouraged (If you’re a newbie, start small! Even 5 minutes a day goes a long way).
Those who already offer sound baths but are looking to deepen their knowledge and expertise.
Those in the healing arts who would like to learn an additional skill to incorporate in to their practice.
Our past students have been therapists, psychologist and sound bath enthusiasts. All are welcome.

FAQs:
Do you have to be “Certified” to be a Sound Bath Facilitator?
No. There is no “governing board” that approves or denies your capacity to lead sound baths. However, ARY Retreats believes ethically you should understand the basic mechanics, fundamentals, and contraindications before using these types of methods on clients and community.

Escape the City with a Noble Sound Healing in Nature
Year Round // Private Ceremonies Available Upon Request
This intimate sound bath experience is exclusively for those seeking a unique escape away from the city. Just 1.5 hours outside of Dallas, Texas , Tierra Sol Estates offers beautiful scenic walking paths amongst the immense trees of Hopkins County.
Sound Baths are held every 1st Sunday and 3rd Saturday of every month at 10 am.
As guests enter our family campgrounds they will be transported to a place of serenity. Guests will only need to bring water + wear comfortable clothing as we will have everything beautifully prepared for a relaxing outdoor (or under a pavilion - depending on weather) sound bath experience (mat, light blanket, and pillows).
Guests will park in a designated area and will be greeted by our certified Sound Bath Facilitator. Our facilitator will lead our guests to the yoga deck or pavilion where the ceremony will take place for the next 1.5 hours.
Once guests settle and get comfortable on their padded mats, the session begins with a short mediation and gentle breathing experience to amplify the experience.
After the sound bath concludes, the sound bath facilitator will give time for guests to share what they saw, felt, and/or experienced.
To reflect on the experience, guests will be encouraged to take a nature walk around the property amongst or stay for a picnic on our custom made farm table.

Virtual sound sessions are perfect for those times you’re craving reset, a reboot in the comfort of your own home or in the great outdoors. This is perfect if you are pregnant, have insomnia, adrenal fatigue, need to realign chakras or simply want to enjoy the meditative soundbath before lunch, a meeting or bed.
